Code Online: ecoder

You don't need a very sophisticated piece of software to code. If you are good at what you do, you're just gonna need Notepad or any other text-editing program. Still, you might be using a netbook, or maybe working on someone else's computer.

This is where ecoder comes in. Ecoder is an open-source web-based code editor, which includes a file browser, file uploader, and tabbed system to allow multiple files to be edited at the same time. With ecoder you can edit code directly online, which is very convenient and cool.

Ecoder works with most standards compliant browsers which have javascript enabled, although IE6 is not supported (and rightfuly so!). It's another wonderful utility for us geeks, online peeps and avid bloggers.
